~The Tracks~

Once when I was 14 years old, me and my friends would walk along the rusty train tracks. We would follow the tracks all the way to school and the shops. We would also put pennies on the tracks and wait for a train to come. Then one day we were walking back from school and I was wearing boots, we all heard a train coming towards us. We all attempted to jump off the tracks, but my left boot got stuck in the crack of the track. It was stuck good because my foot would not even come out of the boot. My friends were trying to make my foot slip out of the boot, but no luck. So they ran back a little ways and yelled at the driver to slow down and stop. The driver managed to stop the train with a good 3 inches before it hit me. We were never allowed to walk on the tracks again!

Basketball Tryouts!!!

The past 4 days we have had basketball tryouts. There was about 11 8th graders that are trying out, and 21 7th graders trying out. Today is our last day of tryouts! We find out who made the team tonight around 5:15 or 5:30! They are taking 12 or less people. Really all we did at tryouts is run 5 in 65 seconds, wich is running 5 down and backs in a minute and five seconds. We play big city, where you pass untill you make a lay-up. We do a lot of passing drills, and some dribbling drills. I made the 7th grade team last year, so I am hoping I make the 8th grade team. Everyone who tried out last year is trying out again this year, except for 2 people, because they are moving to St. Pius. If we make the team this year we have practice at 8 am tomorrow morning! Wish me luck!

~Heaven~

Recently, I have been pushed off a bridge and plummeted to my death! Before I knew it angels were down by my side singing! All of a sudden i am being lifted into the sky. I looked down on all the people who were crying and the man that pushed me. When I reached heaven there was my great-grandpa! He got the chance to be my tour guide! I was so happy to see him. I haven't seen him in 7 years. Well he started talking about heaven and I was so overwhelmed i made him repeat it. When we were done touring, I asked him can dogs come to this heaven too? Or do they go to doggy heaven? He just laughed and said, "Makensie, dogs do come to this heaven!" I was so happy to hear that because my dog just died last week. So now I will be able to play with my puppy in heaven too!

~Technology~

In 1st quarter technology I have learned m any things. Most the things we did this quarter we review from last year. The new things this quarter I have learned was using the blog. I have never used it last year because she was gone from school, and the sub didn't know how to use it. We also did Time Typing Test, where you  have one minute to type as many words as you can. I usually get around a 48-50 words per minute. We also did some really cool projects like the one with the state. You had to get the states abbriveation then put words that go along with that state, in the form of a letter. Another cool thing we did was using wordle. Wordle is when you put a bunch of words in a text box then hit done then it puts the words out randomly on the paper. You can change color, layout, etc. Well thats about it!!!

Tinker Bell

Once i had a guinea pig named Tinker Bell.  She was my mom's class pet when she had a preschool class. Once my mom switched rooms, she was working with the babies. So she could not have an animal in the room. So we took her home to our house and bought a  cage and there she was in my room. She just died recently. She lived for 10 years! Normally they only live for 7-8 years. Once she died we buried next to Brittany's frog named Billy.

3 Little Monsters

Once upon a time there were three little monsters. One was named Harry, the other Zayn, and lastly Niall. Zayn was the smart one that built his house out of bricks. Harry built his house out of wooden sticks. Finally Niall, he built his house out of straw. One day the big bad wolf came and knocked on Niall's door, and said " little monster, little monster open up!" No body opened. So the wolf said I'll blow your house down. All of a sudden little Niall came out and ate the wolf in one bite! So Niall comes straight over to Harry and Zayn's house and told him about his strange story. They stood there thinking, "what is Niall telling us?" They didn't believe him until Niall the Monster threw him all up! Then they all congratulated him for his prize catch!

 My friend Hailey is amazing! She is always there for people when they need a boost. One time, Hailey, Jourdan, Abby and me all went to six flags together and Jourdan and Abby got lost so we had to sit down and wait for them to find us, soon they found us. One time I was at the movies seeing Possession and here comes Hailey sprinting towards me, yelling, "I dont like scary movies!" I had to giver her my jacket so she could cover eyes, so she didnt have to see the scary parts. All she did was complain that she came to see, "The Odd Life of Timothy Green." We never went to see it though. On Halloween night I am having a bonfire and she might come! Well i'll get back to you on it!

The Robbery

When my dad, mom, brother, and me all arrived home, we noticed something mysterious about the house. We walk inside and everything was stolen, my clothes, furniture, and all my parents valubles. The robbers took everything except one strange object that was sitting in the middle of the floor. It was in box form with 2 keyholes, one on front and one on back. Inside we could here nothing moving around. But why wouldn't they just take the ches with them? My dad called 911 and the police hurried over. They investigate a while, then tell us everything was ok but why the strange box? So we looked all over for a key, but we had no luck, so we called a locksmith. The locksmith came and instantly said, "Get rid of this box, take it far, far away and dont bring it back here!" We did as he said and left. Maybe thats a clue!
