Lyric Movie

~This Quarter~

Well, I have learned a whole lot this quarter. We are learning how to create a lyric video. We go on  Movie Maker then insert the pictures, slides, and backgrounds. Then we add the lyrics, and the music. Then you have to go through and change all the slife lengths to the length of the song. We have also did the Alphabet Photo Challenge, where you take a picture of anyrthing that starts with that letter then we put it into a book on Mix Book. We have also did research projects. We have used Wordle. Wordle was fun because you type in a bunch of words that describe your theme or yourself. then you pick a picture and insert it. One thing I didn't like was Typing Web. Typing Web was where you have levels and you have to go through and pass each level then try to finish them all. My favorite of all of them was the Lyric Video. I liked it because you could pick any song and listen to it. Well thats about it!!

~Basketball~

Basketball. Well so far we are 4-0. The 8th grade boys are 0-4. The 7th grade girls, the  7th and 8th grade boys have a game tonight at Sunrise. They do not have an 8th grade girls basketball team, wich is a bummer! But instead we get to ride up there and watch all three teams play against Sunrise. The bus will take all the girls down, then turn around and come get the boys. Then after the girls play, any girl that wants to come back can. The ones who do not come back will have to cram on a bus and ride with the 7th and 8th grade boys teams. Well wish them luck!!

The 7 Doors

I found myself in front of 7 doors that go to different places. One of the seven did go to Narnia. I have always wanted to go to Narnia to see those half-horse half-humans. So I did. I went through the middle door and at first I walked through a snowy forest. Then i hear kids talking and I see footprints. It was the kids from the movie, "Narnia."  We grouped up and made our way through the forest. After 30 minutes, we came across some huff prints. We followed them. Then we finally caught up with all the centaurs. They were really nice and gave us a lift back to the main part of Narnia. They even had girl centaurs and baby centaurs.
Well that is all about my pick to go to Narnia!

Basketball Game Tonight!!!!

Tonight we have a basketball game against Crystal City! We are all really excited. Last time we played them we only won by 9 points. They just lost their best player to Windsor. Windsor is gonna be really tough this year. But, Crystal City has only 6 girls on their team. That leaves only one substitute. If one of the girls foul out, then they won't have any subs. But, if two foul out then we will have to play four on four. We very rarely play four on four but it does happen. Last night I went to my brother's basketball practice at Crystal City and the girls were practicing while we were waiting. So, we got to sit there and watch them practice. So wish us luck!!!

Gun Laws

I think that some people should have the right to own guns and others not so much.  In my opinion I don't think that the government should take away the law to own a gun or weapon. Just when you go to buy a weapon from Cabelas, Walmart, or Dunns I think you should get a background check and have a test to see if you are smart enough to own any type of gun or weapon. The test would be questions that are about the parts of the gun. I do believe that not all people should ever be able to have a gun in their life. Because, its not guns that kill people its stupid people with guns that kill people. Thats why I think you should have to take a test and have a background check before you buy a gun from a store.  You should still have to take a test to take it with you in public places. Thats some reasons you should do that.
